Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is hiring for a full-time Sponsored Programs role at the Burnet Campus. You will support external funded projects by developing and tracking grant budgets, interfacing with program managers, PIs, and funders to maximize reimbursement and ensure timely reporting.

You will coordinate purchasing, space planning, and business processes to improve operations; maintain accurate data in clinical, HR, finance, and supply chain systems, support projects and academic/faculty

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 0+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

• Systems and Technology- Ensure data accuracy in clinical, HR, financial and supply chain systems; support project reporting and academic/faculty management.

Expected Starting Pay Range

$56,846.40 - $72,488.00 Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

Job Responsibilities

• External Funding- Provide support for activities associated with external funded projects, including development and maintenance of grant budgets and expense tracking. Interact with various program managers and principal investigators, as well as outside funding agencies, to achieve maximum reimbursement of program costs, and successfully satisfy reporting requirements of outside funding agencies.
• Procurement and Operations- Coordinate purchasing activities, supporting acquisition and allocation of resources. Participate in space planning. Provide support for business processes to ensure effective and efficient operations. Identify opportunities for improving processes. Resolve issues directly or in consultation with Director. Initiate departmental financial transactions with approval.
• Systems and Technology- Ensure accuracy of data recording and tracking in applicable clinical, human resource, financial and supply chain systems as delegated. Ensure reporting meets division/department decision making needs. Project Support - Provide support for completion of projects and business plans, including research, data collection and analysis. Summarize recommendations and conclusions. Academic/Faculty - Provide support for the management of academic/faculty affairs and the meeting of compliance requirements.
