Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Spokane Valley, WA. The OT will assess and develop plans of care, evaluate patients, and provide education to families and employers.

Must have NBCOT-OTR and BLS, plus state licensure, with at least 6 months of experience; new grads may apply. The role requires 40 hours per week, days shift, and typical travel staffing benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 6 months of clinical OT experience required; new grads welcome.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification are required; active state licensure is needed.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and understand anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living activities.
• Perform assessments, create treatment plans with specific goals, and document progress.
• Assess home/work environments for safety and accessibility improvements.
• Educate patients, families, and employers on care needs and equipment use.
• Document patient progress in accordance with state and payer guidelines.
