Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side, writing the project quality plan and overseeing surveillance of contractors and suppliers.

You will qualify vendors, review ITPs and inspector qualifications, manage nonconformance and corrective actions, and report quality metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization. Some travel to active jobsites is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements flowing from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
