Job summary

CACI is seeking a Splunk Software Engineer-TS/SCI with Poly to join a cross‑functional engineering team. The role focuses on Linux systems, automation, security, and Splunk analytics on high‑assurance boundaries.

You will install and manage Linux, hardware via iDRAC, and contribute to CDS environments; prior experience with Salt, Ansible, or Terraform and Splunk dashboards preferred; TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category.
• 7 years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED
• 5 years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree
• 3 years minimum experience and a Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 year minimum experience and a Master’s Degree
• Splunk certification in Splunk Accredited Core Implementation

Responsibilities

• Serve as Linux expert: OS installation, configuration, user management, networking, system maintenance.
• Manage hardware using iDRAC, BIOS updates, firmware upgrades, RAID configuration, basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across OS, hardware, networks, data flows and applications.
• Build and manipulate files using core UNIX utilities (tar, split, etc.).
• Support automation workflows using Salt; adapt from Ansible, Puppet, Terraform when needed.
• Build, deploy or maintain CDS or similar high‑assurance boundary security technologies.
• Act as the team’s Splunk SME for applications, dashboards, data routing, and analytics.
