Job summary

Swift Hire LLC is seeking a hands-on SIEM Engineer in Harrisburg, PA for a 6+ month hybrid assignment. The role focuses on designing, configuring, and maintaining the enterprise SIEM (primarily Splunk) to strengthen threat detection and incident response.

You will onboard data sources, tune detections, and collaborate with SOC, infrastructure, and cloud teams. In-person interview required; onsite three days per week at the Keystone Building.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SIEM engineering experience with Splunk.
• Experience in log ingestion, parsing, indexing, and retention.
• Proficient in developing correlation searches, alerts, and dashboards.
• Experience integrating SIEM with cloud environments and applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to document configurations and procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and optimize the enterprise SIEM platform (Splunk).
• Onboard data sources and manage log collection and retention.
• Develop detection content, alerts, and dashboards.
• Support SOC analysts and incident response with queries.
• Coordinate with security, networking, and cloud teams.
• Maintain documentation and assist with upgrades and patches.
