Pets Are Family Pet Sitting Services LLC in Alexandria, VA is seeking split-shift pet sitters to care for dogs, cats, and other pets. Ideal candidates work up to 30 hours per week, with early mornings and evenings, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.

Training is provided, and the team values reliability and animal-loving passion. Responsibilities include feeding, walking, companionship, playtime, and basic home care while clients are away.

Qualifications

• Love working with animals and welfare.
• Able to feed, walk, and play with cats and dogs.
• Commit to at least 6 months.
• Morning availability and 2 weekends per month.
• Availability for 2 of 3 major winter holidays.
• Strong communication skills.
• Document daily activities and report concerns.
• Reliable car and live within 5 miles of Alexandria, VA.
• Reliable smartphone compatible with company software.
• Pass a criminal and vehicle background check.
• At least 18 years old and a high school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Provide feeding, walking, companionship and playtime for pets, plus plant watering, mail pickup and basic home care while clients are traveling.
• Flexible scheduling with split shifts between mornings and evenings.
• Maintain timely and accurate reports of pet welfare and activities to guardians and supervisors.
