Ham Lake Veterinary Hospital in Andover, MN seeks a skilled veterinarian to split time between Ham Lake Veterinary Hospital and Isanti Pet Clinic—two days at each, four days total weekly. You will provide preventive and general medical care with a collaborative team in a modern facility.

The ideal candidate holds a DVM/VMD, active state licensure, DEA/BNDD eligibility, and excellent communication. Competitive compensation with benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
• Active state veterinary licensure.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds; can lift heavier weights with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals and provide preventive care.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications when needed.
• Provide counsel on end-of-life care.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics.
