Job summary

Valmont Industries in Claxton, GA is seeking a spinner/ops operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.). You will operate production equipment, read measurements, support Lean, Gemba, and 5S initiatives, and uphold safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), 1–2 years of relevant experience, and ability to work overtime. Candidates must communicate professionally and follow detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• One to two years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as pour cart, mi-jack, water jet, shuttle lift, stress jack, drill press, and other mobile equipment.
• Perform safety audits and participate in Lean manufacturing, Gemba, and 5S.
• Read a tape measure accurately and follow work instructions.
• Work overtime as needed to meet business needs.
• Maintain safety practices and report hazards to supervision.
• Assist with plant housekeeping and general cleanup.
