Gillette Children's Spine Team in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support outpatient, inpatient, perioperative, and surgical care for spine conditions. You will work under physicians and NPs to enhance care delivery in a family-centered model.

The role requires MN PA licensure eligibility, NCCPA certification, CPR, and driving to multiple locations. Competitive salary and a strong benefits package accompany this critical clinical position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program and NCCPA-certified or eligible.
• Minnesota licensure or eligible for licensure as a PA; prescriptive authority.
• Ability to drive to multiple locations.
• Current CPR certification through American Heart Association, or within 90 days of hire.
• Pass the NCCPA written generalist examination every 6 years from initial certification.

Responsabilités

• Independently and collaboratively manage a range of spine concerns across inpatient, outpatient, peri-operative and surgical settings.
• Manage and run an independent clinical schedule.
• Interpret spine studies (imaging, labs, tests) and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Coordinate care between visits and manage acute issues.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, management, and peri-operative topics.
• Function as first or second assist in the operating room.
