Job summary

Christiana Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to work on 7E, a Surgical Spine and knee/hip replacement unit. This role involves caring for diverse postoperative patients and supporting a Magnet-status hospital with advanced spine programs.

The position requires a BSN (or pursuit within three years), preferred 1–2 years med/surgical experience, and BLS certification. Full-time hours include shift coverage, with pay range posted and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
• Prefers at least 1-2 years med/surgical experience.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative nursing care for spine, knee and hip replacement patients.
• Collaborate with PAs and Nurse Practitioners to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, manage pain and ensure safety.
