Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Spine unit. In this role, you will provide evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing spine surgery and managing complex spinal conditions.

You will collaborate with surgeons, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-first care. You will be involved in patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, post-op monitoring, wound and pain management, and

Responsibilities

• Assess patients admitted to the spine unit
• Plan and implement nursing care aligned with physician orders
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects
• Monitor post-operative patients for complications
• Educate patients and families about recovery, precautions, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with surgeons, APNs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
