Job summary

OrthoCarolina Spine Center in Charlotte seeks a Part Time Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic radiographs for physicians, ensuring radiation safety and patient comfort. The role supports the spine center and collaborates with physicians and staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a radiologic technologist degree, ARRT eligibility or certification, and orthopedic radiography experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by ARRT/AMA.
• Minimum of one year experience as an x-ray tech with an orthopedic background.
• Registered Radiology Tech by ARRT or registry eligible; CPR certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and perform radiographic procedures per departmental policy.
• Explain procedures, obtain history, and address patient questions.
• Ensure radiation protection and safety for patients and staff.
• Log radiological procedures, charges, and related paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and stock supplies.
