Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Spine & Pain Management on a PRN basis in St. Louis, MO. You will work in Mercy Clinic Southfork, supporting pain management services, patient assessments, and coordinated care within a busy specialty clinic.

You will administer medications, monitor patient condition, and help with documentation, ensuring safety and quality under Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and valid nursing license.
• Current state license to practice nursing.
• CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Strong communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess patients, including pain evaluations, vitals, and medical history.
• Assist providers with spine and pain management procedures and treatments.
• Administer medications and injections; support IV therapy as needed.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Coordinate care, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure clinical standards compliance.
• Support a safe, efficient clinic environment and assist with labs.
