Job summary

Mercy Clinic Spine & Pain Management in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position in a Spine & Pain Management clinic.

You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with acute and chronic pain, coordinating with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality services. You will perform assessments, assist with injections and interventional procedures, educate patients, and document care in the EMR while supporting efficient clinic

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1+ year nursing experience preferred (outpatient, orthopedics, procedural, or pain management experience a plus).
• BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient spine & pain management clinic.
• Perform focused assessments, triage symptoms, and monitor spine/pain conditions.
• Assist with clinic operations including patient prep, admissions, discharges, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and care team to support treatment plans and injections.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and escalate as needed.
• Educate patients on medications, procedures, recovery, and pain management.
• Document care and education in the electronic medical record.
• Support efficient clinic flow by prioritizing tasks and adapting to needs.
