Job summary

Gillette Children’s is seeking a full-time Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist (CO) to join our Spine-focused team at the St. Paul campus.

This 1.0 FTE role involves evaluating, designing, fabricating, and fitting custom orthoses/prostheses, with no on-call or weekend requirements. You will work within a collaborative hospital setting, providing patient-centered care, teaching, and mentoring to students and residents while adhering to licensure and board certification

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota O&P license required; license eligible candidates may be considered.
• ABC or BOC certification in Orthotics/Prosthetics, in good standing with certifying board.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, cast, measure, design, fabricate, and fit orthoses/prostheses for patients.
• Serve as a resource to students and residents in the program.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to determine appropriate interventions and goals.
• Make adjustments and repairs to devices using appropriate materials and tools.
