Apploi seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of radiologic procedures on diverse patient populations, with emphasis on pre-, intra-, and post-operative spinal imaging using C-arm and portable equipment. You will ensure patient safety and accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.

Qualified candidates have a 2-year AMA-approved Certificate or A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology, NJ DEP license, ARRT certification, and BLS CPR. Prior operative suite experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of 2-year AMA approved Certificate program or A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Current NJ DEP license in Diagnostic Radiography and ARRT Certification.
• CPR/BLS certified and able to perform in sterile environment.

Responsabilités

• Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
• Preparing equipment for use, especially C-arms and portable radiography equipment.
• Preparing examination rooms for patient exams.
• Positioning patients for imaging exams.
• Monitoring patients during exams.
• Documenting information with computers, especially EMR and PACS entries.
• Reporting important information to the physician.
• Ensuring safety of patients during exams.
• Producing diagnostic images of soft tissues.
• Administering targeted doses of radiation for treatment when needed.
• Proficient in sterile technique and operating radiographic equipment in sterile environment.
