Job summary

San Diego Compassionate Caregivers, Inc. in San Diego is urgently hiring a dedicated Caregiver to support a client living with ALS. Training will be provided to a quick learner who is motivated to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Shifts are available daily 10 am–4 pm, with paid training and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) with matching. Credentials preferred; willingness to register within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• Registered HCA/HHA credential or willingness to register within 30 days.
• TB clearance required (within 7 days of hire).
• Ability to perform lifting and transfers.
• Hoyer Lift/SCI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a client with ALS with compassionate, patient-focused support.
• Assist with activities of daily living and safe transfers.
• Follow care plan and participate in paid training for SCI care.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/hour

Location: San Diego, CA

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

  10 am-4 pm

• Credentials: Registered HCA/HHA (or willing to register within 30 days).

• Health: TB Clearance (recent or within 7 days of hire).

• Physical: Ability to perform lifting and transfers.

• Experience: Hoyer Lift/SCI experience preferred, but willingness to learn is required.
