Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Pilot in California to support REACH medical air transport. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork to move patients quickly and securely between locations.

Provided with a strong incentive package and steady schedule, you will contribute to high-stakes operations in critical care transport. The position requires FAA rotorcraft certification, instrument rating, medical certificate, and extensive flight hours, including

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours and 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours and 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 Night Unaided or 50 Night Unaided with 100 Aided hours.
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers as part of a medical air transport team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch, per manuals and REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change info to the next pilot and team per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
