Job summary

NASCAR's Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida is seeking a dependable General Maintenance team member to keep buildings, grounds, and event spaces safe, clean, and race-ready. You’ll perform repairs, set up for events, and support operations during busy race weekends and rentals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of maintenance experience, basic electrical/plumbing/painting skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting, repairs).
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 25–100 pounds depending on task.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of buildings, grounds, and facility equipment.
• Complete minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and wall repair projects.
• Maintain walkways and common areas; use hand and power tools.
• Set up and tear down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
• Support race weekends, track rentals, and special events.
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the Speedway.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
