Job summary

AmeriWell Care is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-home speech therapy services to an individual with IDD in Piscataway, NJ.

This position offers flexible hours (part-time/per diem), the ability to work independently in the client’s home, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in communication, social interaction, and daily living.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
• Experience with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one speech therapy in the home setting.
• Address communication, language, social, and functional speech goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and session notes.
• Collaborate with family, support staff, and interdisciplinary team.
