Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rome, GA. You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality post-acute care.

The role requires an ASHA‑accredited degree, a valid SLP license in the state, and, if trained abroad, credential evaluation. PruittHealth supports career growth, annual merit increases, and relocation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SLP license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an ASHA-accredited program; foreign-trained must have credential evaluation deeming equivalence to U.S. entry-level education.
• Evidence of eligibility to obtain state licensure and comply with ASHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per individualized care plans.
• Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records.
• Follow policies related to scope of practice and professional standards.
• Coordinate with care teams to deliver high-quality post-acute care.
• Participate in orientations, trainings, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid professional SLP license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ASHA accredited school. If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a Speech Language Pathology entry level education in the U.S. by a credential’s evaluation organization approved by ASHA
