Job Summary and Qualifications

The Speech Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and establishing treatment goals.
• Serving as an educator to patients, families, and colleagues.
• Implementing and adjusting therapy programs to maximize patient progress.
• Documenting patient progress and completing necessary notes and reports.
• Collaborating with medical staff regarding patient assessments and placements.

Qualifications include:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Therapist.
