Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our care team. You will provide evaluation and treatment for patients across ages in a compassionate setting. Applicants must hold an SLP license, ASHA certification within a year, and BLS; emergency response readiness is required.

Preferred candidates have about one year of experience and a patient-centered approach, collaborating with a caring team to improve communication and quality of life for our communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in the applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience; experience with patients of all ages.

Position Details:

• Education: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Licensure: Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license in applicable State of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Certification from American Speech and Hearing Association within 1 year of hire, extension at discretion of leader and clinical fellowship supervisor. BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Experience: One year of experience. Experience in caring for patients of all ages preferred.
