Sobe Innovative Rehab in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide geriatric therapy in home or assisted living settings on a PRN basis. You will earn $68 per treatment with flexible scheduling, the freedom to use clinical judgment, and the support of a collaborative therapy team focused on improving communication and swallowing outcomes for older adults.

Required is an Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Florida SLPA license;

Qualifications

Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Florida SLPA license.
New graduates and experienced therapists welcome.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) provides speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans, assisting patients with communication and swallowing goals as directed, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the care team to support quality patient outcomes.

Treat patients in assisted living and/or home settings
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Communicate with the supervising SLP and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient needs and progress.
Communicate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Complete accurate, thorough daily documentation in the EMR
