Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities, and to deliver tailored rehab plans. You will design and implement therapy programs, coordinate with caregivers, and monitor progress in diverse settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, are licensed or credentialed as required by their state, and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment that supports ongoing education and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or ASHA-acceptable equivalent.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehab services and design treatment plans for patients.
• Help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech/communication deficits.
• Collaborate with patients, caregivers and team to promote independence and functional outcomes.
• Work across varied settings and be adaptable to daily schedules and equipment needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers to sustain skills and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

You’re a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You’re equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual, and you know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities.

Qualifications

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $36.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.
