Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Therapy Services team in the Georgia-Rome area. This PRN position involves performing evaluations, treatments, and documentation according to individualized care plans at the TS SN Rome site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SLP license in the practicing state.
• Graduation from an ASHA-accredited program; foreign-trained must be equivalent to U.S. entry-level education in Speech Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the care plan.
• Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
• Respond to priorities in patient care with initiative and sound judgment.
• Complete orientations and trainings in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of ASHA accredited school. If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a Speech Language Pathology entry level education in the U.S. by a credential’s evaluation organization approved by ASHA
