Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver resident-centered speech therapy across inpatient, home health, and outpatient settings. You will conduct evaluations, plan and implement treatments, and participate in discharge planning to support quality of life for residents.

The role offers specialized on-site training, CEU opportunities, and a supportive, not-for-profit environment with a strong emphasis on prevention and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility where services are rendered.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or outpatient rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, and discharge planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals; document progress.
  • Collaborate with care teams to ensure continuity of care and maximize resident outcomes.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist position.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, discharge planning, and performing other related duties as required. Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • An active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • A valid Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered
  • Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred)

Pay Range

$76,385.00 - $96,267.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
