Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain power in communication, swallowing, and overall function. You will design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, collaborating with patients and care teams to drive meaningful improvements in speech and communication abilities.

The role emphasizes mentorship, ongoing CEUs, and making a lasting impact across diverse care settings, including clinics, SNFs, and home-based care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled area that is accepted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and address disorders or deficits with an effective rehab plan.
• Design and deliver individualized treatment plans and monitor progress with accuracy.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to promote independence and functional communication.
• Maintain professional documentation and participate in team meetings and treatment reviews.
• Support patient care across settings, from clinics to home-based care when needed.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual, and you know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• 2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
