Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Maine to help patients communicate, swallow, and reduce speech disorders. You will design rehab plans and work with patients to execute these plans across settings, ensuring effective delivery of therapy services.

You’ll tailor care to the whole person, adapt to daily needs, and collaborate with peers while referring when needed. You will train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productive communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similarly titled area acceptable to ASHA.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and address speech disorders through rehab plans.
• Design and deliver rehab plans and execute them with patients.
• Work as part of a team to provide effective rehab services across settings.
• Adapt to patient needs and move through various care environments.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

Qualifications

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

USD $40.00 - $48.00 /Hr.
