General Statement:

Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs professional duties including therapeutic assessments, treatment plan development, therapy implementation, and evaluation of data to determine progress towards goals and to adjust the plan as needed. Additional Requirements:

Must be able and willing to provide speech therapy services as outlined in the Michigan Medicaid Manual. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and some irregular hours; must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours; ability to physically perform the tasks.

Preferences:

Strong clinical foundation in assessing and treating apraxia and other language and communication delays, experience working with individuals who may engage in challenging behavior, and experience functioning as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
