Job summary

VNA Health Group seeks a compassionate Speech Therapist to serve patients in Hudson and Essex counties with in-home or community-based evaluations and treatments. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop individualized plans and improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NJ license with CCC-SLP, 2–3 years of clinical experience, and a valid NJ driver’s license. Driving is required for home visits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current NJ license and CCC-SLP certification.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience; community-based experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Valid NJ driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients for speech and language therapy needs.
• Develop and implement appropriate care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Provide in-home speech therapy services to support recovery and communication outcomes.
• Document patient progress and update care plans as necessary.
• Identify patient and family education needs and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate care delivery in accordance with agency protocols.

VNA Health Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist servicing in Hudson County and Essex County to provide speech and language therapy evaluations and treatments for patients in their homes or alternate community settings throughout Essex County and Hudson County. In this role, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
