Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Memorial Campus Hospital in El Paso, TX seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients across the lifespan. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and manage patient progress from assessment through discharge.

Responsibilities include responding to orders, conducting tests, reviewing charts, and setting measurable goals with patients and families.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
  • State licensure and CCC from ASHA required; BLS certification preferred.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations and interprofessional teams preferred.

Job Summary

Job Type: Full Time

Evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of speech language pathology. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re‑assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Master's degree in speech-language pathology/communication sciences and disorders

Experience:

Preferred: Competency in performing modified barium swallow exams

Certifications:

Required: State licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. AHA BLS.
