Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities. You will design and execute rehab plans, coordinate with the patient and care team, and adapt to various care settings to maximize outcomes.

Candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and are licensed or credentialed in the state. The role includes mentorship, continuing education, visa sponsorship, and relocation support to join our national team.

Qualifications

• Licensed or credentialed in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders or deficits.
• Design rehab plans and deliver them effectively with patients.
• Collaborate with patients to restore speech and communication abilities.
• Move between settings, perform related tasks, and participate in meetings.
• Train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
• Be a team player and make referrals when needed.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual, and you know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities.

Qualifications

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60.00 - USD $65.00 /Hr.
