Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Mississippi to help patients communicate, swallow, and engage in meaningful therapy. You will lead the effective delivery of rehab services, design individualized plans, and work closely with patients to execute those plans.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, thrive in diverse settings, and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence. The role offers clinical mentorship, free CEUs through Medbridge, visa sponsorship support,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-L Language Pathology or ASHA-consistent program.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to help patients communicate and swallow.
• Design and execute individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with patients to restore, reinforce and enhance communication.
• Adapt to various settings and move through daily tasks.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual, and you know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.


• 2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

USD $55.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
