Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help patients regain power in communication and swallowing. You will design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognition in diverse settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, guide caregivers, and provide patient-centered therapy to enhance independence and quality of life. A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders.
• Design and implement rehab plans; deliver therapy to achieve patient goals.
• Collaborate with patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
• Adapt therapy to each patient's needs and setting while maintaining movement through daily activities.
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to sustain communication improvements.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

Qualifications

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $47.00 /Hr.
