Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – North Mississippi in Batesville, MS is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to screen, evaluate and educate patients with speech, language, dysphagia, and cognitive deficits.

The Speech Therapist must hold a current Mississippi license and BLS certification, read and communicate in English, and be comfortable with basic computer systems. Additional languages are desirable, and AMG offers a supportive team and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist License in the state of Mississippi.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and educate patients with speech, language, dysphagia, dysarthria, voice, fluency, and cognitive deficits.
• Plan, direct and conduct rehabilitative and counseling programs to treat the above disorders.
• Ensure treatments align with established policies and procedures and maintain high quality patient care.

AMG Specialty Hospital – North Mississippi is seeking PRN Speech Therapist (ST / SLP). The Speech Therapist is responsible for screening, evaluating and educating patients with speech, language, dysphagia, dysarthria, voice, fluency, and cognitive deficits. Speech therapists are also responsible for planning, directing and conducting rehabilitative and counseling programs to treat the above disorders. All Speech Therapy treatments are in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.
