Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westover Hills is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs, and document progress in our electronic health records.

You must hold current licensure and CCC, with CPR/BLS either in place or required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and treat patients with speech and language disorders in an inpatient rehab setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and adjust as needed.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in the chart.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience
