Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will develop personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapy as needed in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications include current licensure, CCC, CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days), and a master's degree preferred (or a bachelor's with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or pursued.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy interventions as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and responses to therapy.
• Celebrate patient victories and support ongoing communication goals.
