Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver compassionate therapy and support to patients at our inpatient rehabilitation locations in the United States. You will use evidence-based approaches and cutting-edge technology within a collaborative team that values empathy and patient outcomes.

The role requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR either already held or obtained within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree is preferred (Bachelor’s with field experience

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations (SLP).
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
