Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver patient-centered speech and language rehabilitation across our nationwide inpatient network. The successful candidate will assess, design, and implement personalized therapy plans while collaborating with a compassionate team to improve communication outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
