1200 MH-Memphis Hospitals is looking for a Speech Pathologist in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves evaluating, treating, and counseling patients with speech, language, swallowing, or hearing disorders. You will perform patient assessments, implement treatment activities, and report findings.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and have a Speech-Language Pathologist certification from Tennessee. No prior work experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates.
The Speech Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and counseling patients with speech, language, swallowing, or hearing disorders in accordance with professional and Methodist Healthcare standards of treatment. There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this job.
The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The position requires exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs frequently. Visual acuity: color, depth perception, field of vision required. Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
