Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center, a 314-bed acute-care teaching hospital serving Dallas County communities, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for its 8 am–5 pm, PRN schedule. The role requires a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, and BLS certification with at least 1 year of licensed SLP experience preferred.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning, while striving to improve the patient experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Required Valid Texas License or temporary license.
• 1 year licensed SLP experience preferred.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Speech Language Pathology position renders professional and technical speech and language therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Speech-Language Pathology Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).

Your Job Requirements:
