Job summary

Encompass Health in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team. You’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language needs using evidence-based therapies and modern technology.

This role offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for growth, and comprehensive benefits. Active state licensure and CCC certification are required, with CPR training obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the journey.
