Responsible for evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders affecting speech, voice, language and swallowing abilities in adults and pediatric patients. In the acute care setting, provide evaluations and recommendations for patient’s candidacy for PO diet or need for non-oral nutritional support as well as assisting in speech and language screenings and recommendations for discharge needs. In the out patient setting, carry a varied caseload including: pediatric speech and language disorders, voice disorders, professional voice care, augmentative communication evaluations, alaryngeal speech training, dysphagia, aphasia and dysarthria. This position cannot support Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates.

On Call: No Shift Rotation: No Weekends: No Pay Range: $38.50 - $53.90 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
