JOB TITLE: Speech Pathologist-Pediatric Feeding

DEPT- Speech Therapy OP

LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center- Columbia, TN

SHIFT: PRN, Monday-Friday as needed

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides Speech Therapy according to the State of Tennessee Practice Act and policies and procedures.

In addition to the standard duties and responsibilities of the Speech-Language Pathologist, responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat children of all ages with feeding, swallowing, and oral-motor difficulties
• Provide intervention for feeding aversion, limited food acceptance, and difficulty advancing food textures, within the SLPs scope of practice
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable feeding/swallowing goals
• Educate and train parents/caregivers
• Collaborate with members of the child’s care team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Current and valid license as a Speech Therapist Tennessee Required

Master's Speech Therapy Preferred

1 Year Outpatient Speech Therapy Experience Preferred
