Banner Health's University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a NICU Speech Pathologist to join the Rehab team, primarily serving the pediatric population in an acute care setting. You will screen, evaluate, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders with emphasis on evidence-based practice and family-centered care.
40 hours weekly, weekdays; weekend coverage may apply with differential pay.

As the NICU Speech Pathologist you will bring your experience and passion for health care to our Rehab team! You will have the opportunity to work primarily with the pediatric population in an acute care setting. You will be an active and engaged change agent; dedicated to the needs of our patients and families. Steadfast to safe, kind, effective, efficient, evidenced-based and high quality clinical care, outcome focused and solution oriented.Previous Speech Pathologist experience in a pediatric unit is preferred.
The NICU Speech Pathologist is for Banner University Medical Center, Tucson main campus facility. The shift is 40 hours per week 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday with some weekend coverage. Enjoy a weekend differential of $3/hour for any Saturday or Sunday shift!

This position provides screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients with speech and language disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. This position plans and carries out specialized treatment programs, documents treatment, and maintains data regarding patient care. This position demonstrates the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
