Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Desert Canyon in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and implement personalized speech and language therapy plans for patients. You will assess progress, adjust treatments as needed, and document outcomes to help patients regain communication abilities.

Qualified candidates hold current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR/BLS either at hire or within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience
