Job summary

Encompass Health in Roans Prairie, TX is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will evaluate, plan, and administer individualized speech and language therapy to patients, documenting progress and adjusting treatment as needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience
