Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide individualized speech and language rehabilitation. You will evaluate and develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapy as needed within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes documenting outcomes, celebrating patient progress, and contributing to a leading national inpatient rehabilitation team known for compassionate care and professional growth

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Certification as Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
