Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concord seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in a compassionate, patient-centered setting. You will develop individualized treatment plans and work with a multidisciplinary team to support communication goals.

The role emphasizes progress documentation, ongoing assessment, and celebrating patient milestones as patients regain essential speaking and swallowing abilities in a nationwide

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification required for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
